Colombia vs Costa Rica: Live streaming, TV channel, kick-off time & where to watch Copa America 2024
Colombia are probably one of the most infirm sides in the competition after collecting their eighth consecutive win in the last match. They are yet to lose a match in the last 23 matches which is an impressive record for them. Nestor Lorenzo’s side secured a 2-1 victory in the opening match. James Rodriguez played his part in the match after providing two assists to help them win. A win here will see them progress to the next round.
Costa Rica put on a resilient display in the last match against Brazil to start their tournament with a draw. It was a complete team effort from them to nullify the threat possessed by them. Brazil attempted 19 shots against them in the last match but couldn’t only hit three on target. The defense didn’t allow their attacker to have any clear-cut chances. However, they will have to improve their attacking display after failing to register a single shot on target in the last match.
The Copa America 2024 match between Colombia and Costa Rica will be on Saturday, 29 June at 3:30 AM IST at the University of Phoenix Stadium, United States.

Colombia vs Costa Rica LIVE stream info, Copa America 2024: When and where to watch COL V CRC Group D match
Here’s all you need to know about the LIVE stream and telecast info for Colombia and Costa Rica Group D match in Copa America 2024.
Colombia faces Costa Rica in a Group D fixture on Friday in the ongoing Copa America 2024 at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
Colombia coach Nestor Lorenzo said his side will not underestimate Costa Rica on Friday as his side looks to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the Copa America.
Colombia tops Group D after beating Paraguay 2-1 in their opener, while Costa Rica earned an impressive 0-0 draw with nine-times champions Brazil.
“We shouldn’t underestimate them. If it was a team that was going to sit back and defend I wouldn’t be worried. I’m worried about the change in attitude at times, that they’ve done well in other game situations,” said Lorenzo.
“They are going to give us a fight in all areas of the pitch. They are a young, strong team with a lot of energy. We have to be patient and they are going to compete physically. It’s not an easy team, it’s going to be tough.”
Costa Rica is well aware of the threat posed by Colombia’s forwards, said coach Gustavo Alfaro.
“They have strikers with different characteristics, but perhaps even more dangerous than the Brazilians with a high damage rate on the offensive,” he said at a news conference.
Colombia can clinch a Copa America quarter-final berth with a victory over Costa Rica at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona on Friday.
Los Cafeteros’ dream of winning their second continental title began positively with a 2-1 win over Paraguay in Houston.
Colombia’s victory over Paraguay extended their winning streak to nine but it was not as convincing a win as it looked like it was going to be when they went 2-0 up before half-time.
James Rodriguez created both goals with superb crosses, his first from open play finding an unmarked Daniel Munoz and his second from a free-kick converted by another Crystal Palace man — Jefferson Lerma.
It was not all plain sailing for Nestor Lorenzo’s men, who lost Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi to injury midway through the first half.
Yerry Mina looked cumbersome when he came on and Paraguay were the better side after the break, finishing the contest with a higher corner and shot count than Colombia.
But Brazil’s draw with Costa Rica means Colombia are alone at the top of Group D on three points and will confirm a place in the knockout phase with victory over the Ticos.
The Concacaf representatives did themselves proud with a backs-to-the-wall display against the five-time world champions.
Brazil dominated the game and wasted several chances to break the deadlock, but could not find a goal despite recording 19 shots to Costa Rica’s two at SoFi Stadium.
Young defender Jeyland Mitchell did an excellent job of shackling Vinicius Junior and goalkeeper Patrick Sequeira made three important saves.
A fourth consecutive clean sheet for Gustavo Alfaro’s side shows where the strength of Costa Rica’s squad lies, but Brazil also had an effort by Marquinhos disallowed in the first half after a lengthy VAR check.
Lorenzo will be forced into at least one change with centre-back Lucumi out after suffering an injury while blocking a Julio Enciso shot against Paraguay.
Mina replaced him after 25 minutes of that game and is the likely starter alongside Davinson Sanchez.
Lucumi is reported to have suffered a muscle injury in his left leg, but has not yet been ruled out of Colombia’s final group game against Brazil.
Costa Rica coach Alfaro has a full squad at his disposal after the federation confirmed that Jefferson Brenes had not suffered a concussion against Brazil.
That game saw the first use of the pink card at the Copa America when Alejandro Bran replaced Brenes in the 64th minute.
